Reverse a confirmed order — back to Quotation in one click.
Adds a safe, time-boxed Undo to Sale Order confirmation. When a quotation is confirmed by mistake, an Undo button appears in the order for a window you control; one click returns it to a quotation and frees the stock reservations — with a complete audit trail and no database restore.
Confirming a quotation on the wrong customer, with the wrong pricing, or before it was ready means cancelling the order, cleaning up the generated deliveries, and hoping nothing else broke. It is slow, error-prone and stressful.
An Undo button appears on the confirmed order for 5, 10, 30 minutes or a custom window.
Returns the order to draft and cancels the not-yet-done deliveries, releasing reservations.
Once the order is invoiced or delivered, undo is blocked with a clear reason — never a forced state.
Who confirmed, who undid, when, and the before/after states — all searchable.
Confirm a quotation — it becomes a Sales Order.
Realise it should have gone differently.
Click Undo Confirmation and confirm.
The order is a clean quotation again.

A complete audit record

Settings & time window
Odoo 19, Community and Enterprise. Depends only on Community apps — no Enterprise required.
Enable per company, set the window per company, and keep audit logs isolated by company with record rules.
Two groups — Undo User and Undo Manager. Actions are tracked automatically; undoing requires explicit rights.
Open Settings → Universal Undo: enable the feature, choose the time window (5 / 10 / 30 minutes or custom), require a reason, toggle the audit log and notifications, and pick which documents support undo.
Does it cancel the deliveries?
Yes — the not-yet-done deliveries are cancelled and the reservations are freed, exactly as a manual cancel would.
What if the order is already invoiced?
Undo is refused with a clear message; reverse the invoice first (a credit note).
Does it modify Odoo core?
No. It layers on sale.order through inheritance only.
